Dr. Heayoung P. Yoon is an Associate Professor of ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering) at the University of Utah. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Yoon was a Research Associate at the Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST/UMD). She also worked at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology prior to her Ph.D. program. In November 2015, she joined the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor. Her primary research interest is in engineering micro/nanostructured materials to enhance device performance and functionality in energy, advanced electronics, and biomedical technology.
